BASICS
1. What side of the road do British people drive on? THE LEFT. I don't know why.
2. What's a lorry? Whatever you guys call these tings: www.bankcheck.co.uk/stg/userup…
3. How do British people spell yogurt? Yoghurt. Yeah I know.
4. What exams do British kids have to take at 16? GCSEs. Lmao, ring any bells guys? XD
5. What exams to British kids have to take at 18? A-Levels. D':

WHAT IS THE AMERICAN EQUIVALENT OF...
1. Anti-clockwise - Counterclockwise
2. Argy-bargy - An argument
3. Candy floss? - Cotton candy
4. Car boot - The trunk of a car
5. Car boot sale - Garage sale
6. Torch - Flashlight
7. Wellies - Apparently it's "galoshes" but I really don't know if you guys actually use that word or not so xD basically boots. Idk here's a picture: julialondon.com/wp-content/upl…
8. Brolly - Umbrella
9. Petrol - Gas - our petrol stations are what you guys call gas stations.
10. Post - Mail

SLANG
1. Boffin - An intelligent person. It's half an insult, half a complement. Depends really on who says it.
2. Chunder - Vomit. Wooo.
3. Grim - Something which isn't very pleasant.
4. Hench - An athletic looking person.
5. Tank - Same as hench.
6. Lad - Somebody who did something cool or badass.
7. Bird - Used by teenage boys to describe a fit looking girl.
8. Chav - Often used to describe somebody who is a lower social class to whoever is using the word. Mainly for people who live on council estates in London, or who dresses like a gangster or whatever.

FOOD
1. Yorkshire pudding - Eaten with roast beef. It's like some kind of pancake-like mixture which is baked instead of fried. Basically we Brits want pancakes but we want them to be slightly healthier.
2. Black pudding - It's like pig fat and blood fried. Normally eaten with a full english breakfast. I have never had it and it sounds disgusting so :L
3. Steak and kidney pie - Steak and kidney pie. TRICK QUESTION
4. Shepherd's pie - It's like a pie (NO RLLY) with mince and mashed potato in it and occasionally vegetables. Not really my fave thing to eat, I have to say.
5. Ginger beer - Ginger ale.

Alright class dismissed. Feel free to take the mickey out of all us Brits for our weird and wonderful language XD also somebody please make an American version. IT'LL BE HILARIOUS
