Go for it. Click dat x button at the corner there. You know you want to! XD Like nobody comments on these things anymore, but hey. (Although I know one or two of you always do, and you guys are my favourite people ok)

So last night myself, :iconthe-shadow-artist: :iconamyisalittledecoy: buggered along to Wembley stadium in London to see Evanescence again. It was pretty special because not only was it the last night of the tour, it was also the last Ev concert for probably quite a while, as they're going on yet another break, possibly 5 years long again >< Tis a shame, they're my favourite band :(

We were standing, and for some reason it was just one of those nights where all the tall people think its a really good idea to push forward and stand directly in front of you. I don't understand their logic behind this. We thought perhaps we should prompt their thinking by loudly complaining how we weren't going to be able to see the band at this rate but nobody seemed to get the hint. Or they got it and they were just too self-centered to think of the people around them. Either way, we did get to see Amy Lee at some points in the concert. Enough to see the British flags she was wearing anyway XD I also had the priviledge of being able to inhale a nice amount of smoke and nicotine and tar when the person behind us decided she couldn't possibly wait till the end of the concert and go where it was legal to smoke. These people ><

To be honest, I don't think it was worth the £33. They played pretty much exactly the same set list as they had when we saw them a year ago, although they may have even missed out some of their songs e.g. Oceans and stuff. However, there's no denying that Evanescence are absolutely incredible, both live and in the studio. It was really nice to be back in a concert hall, too. It solidified the fact that I do in fact what to be a musician - and while we were there actually I got a message from SolarFlareFire saying that we've got our first gig :D woop woop!

One of the best parts of the night though: sprinting home through tube stations at 11pm in the evening, legging it up and down stairs and escalators and being so quick it felt like the ticket barriers didn't open quick enough. So it was an awesome night, even if I feel slightly ripped off by the view and set list.

Congrats on your first gig, sweetie!!!!! I can't wait to hear all about that!!!

I've honestly never been to a concert before and I'm sorry they didn't play any new stuff... that sort of womps.
And if that cigarette smoker did that, you should've "accidentally" waved your arms and knocked it out, while one of the others stomped it out. Very covert and all, ya know~.
